You’ll find me curled up on the couch with my husband and a good book, or lifting at the gym. In the winter, I’m happiest flying down a mountain on my ski blades.
My husband and I were high school sweethearts, something I once thought sounded cliché, but now cherish deeply. I understand what it means to build something that lasts, and that perspective quietly informs the way I photograph your stories.
We share our home with our three rescue pups: Archie, Penny, and Daisy. I always encourage clients to include their pets in photos - whether it’s a ring dog on your wedding day or muddy paws during a family portrait session.
Above all, I value connection. My clients often tell me they feel comfortable and at ease in front of my camera, and that trust allows authenticity to unfold naturally.
So when you look back years from now, you don’t just remember how it looked.
You remember how it felt.
I’ve had a camera in my hands for as long as I can remember, starting with my Barbie Polaroid documenting my mom’s garden and our family dog. By high school, I was the girl with a camera permanently around her neck. After discovering a creative community online, I realized photography wasn’t just something I loved, it was how I experienced the world, and my biggest passion.
Photographs have always anchored my memory. I may forget the small details of a day, but the moment I look at an image, I am transported back completely. That is the gift I strive to give everyone I photograph across North Carolina and beyond: imagery that doesn’t just show what your day looked like, but allows you to feel it again decades from now.
I have photographed countless wedding celebrations, empowered many clients via bespoke boudoir sessions, and helped families capture heirloom moments with a refined, intuitive presence. Years of experience have taught me how to anticipate fleeting moments, collaborate seamlessly with other vendors, and provide posing direction naturally so nothing ever feels stiff or forced.
I intentionally accept a limited number of weddings each year to provide a highly personalized and attentive experience. I am currently booking weddings, elopements, engagements, families, branding, boudoir and more through 2027.
I have had the honor of photographing weddings and sessions in New York, New Jersey, Hawaii, Colorado, Massachusetts, Tennessee, South Carolina, Virginia, and beyond. I have insatiable wanderlust, and have photographed in many international destinations such as the rolling hills in Tuscany, Italy, the Scottish Highlands, the fjords of Oslo, Norway, the streets of Barcelona, to the beaches of Jamaica.
Travel inspires my creativity and deepens my perspective. Whether documenting mountaintop vows in Colorado or coastal celebrations in Hawaii, I bring the same refined, thoughtful approach to every location. If your story takes you somewhere meaningful, I would be honored to follow.
from Pratt Institute in 2015, where I trained not only in photography, but continued my oil painting that I have loved since I was a toddler, and also discovered sculpture, life drawing, astronomy, and experienced traditional darkroom film development for the first time. That fine art foundation surrounded by such creative minds shaped my understanding of composition, light, and timeless visual storytelling, giving my work depth beyond digital trends.
